The formula

Per two-capsule serving: Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) 10 mg · L-Tyrosine 1 g · L-Theanine 200 mg · Caffeine Anhydrous 100 mg.

Other Ingredients: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (capsule), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide, Calcium Silicate. No proprietary blend.

How to take it

Take two capsules daily, ideally with your morning routine, before the work you want to focus on. Each pouch has 60 capsules — a 30-day supply. Because Atomic Focus contains caffeine, take it earlier in the day and avoid it close to bedtime.

Contains 100 mg caffeine per serving. Not recommended for children, pregnant or breast-feeding women, or persons sensitive to caffeine. Do not exceed the recommended serving.

Quality & testing

Formulated by Dr. Jade Teta and manufactured in an NSF/ANSI 455-2 GMP-certified, FDA-registered facility, in HPMC veggie capsules.

The current finished-product COA documents weight, disintegration, microbial, heavy-metal, gluten, and P5P potency testing.

Good focus should feel like flow.

Something to get done

You sit down because there's something you want to get done. It needs your attention. But what does good focus actually feel like?

Absorbed in the work

Think of those stretches when you're so absorbed in what you're doing that you forget to check the time.

Making progress

You're making progress without stopping to think about whether you feel focused.

Here for the work

You didn't sit down to feel focused. You sat down to do the work.

More energy doesn't always mean more focus.

You can feel ready to do twenty things while your attention keeps jumping between them. The energy is there. The work still isn't moving.

What you want is to give one thing your attention—and come back to it when something pulls you away.

Atomic Focus vs. Stimulants Alone

Atomic Focus Stimulants alone

An ingredient name isn't enough.
The amount matters.

Research tests specific amounts. A familiar ingredient on a label doesn't tell you whether its dose matches the study.

Atomic Focus lists every active ingredient and its amount. No proprietary blend.

See what each ingredient is here for, how its dose compares with the research, and what that research can—and can't—tell us.

Caffeine can have a place in a focus formula. The question is what the formula offers beyond caffeine alone.

Caffeine, 100 mg. The alertness ingredient.

Caffeine is here for alertness. We keep it at a disclosed 100 mg per serving and pair it with twice as much L-Theanine. The strength of the kick is not our test of the whole formula.

L-Theanine, 200 mg. The pairing has a purpose.

A fresh sprig of green tea leaves on a pale studio background

L-Theanine is an amino acid studied alongside caffeine for attention. In one trial with 27 adults, the combination improved speed and accuracy on an attention-switching task compared with placebo.

That trial used 100 mg of L-Theanine with 50 mg of caffeine. Atomic Focus uses the same 2:1 ratio at twice those amounts. The study helps explain our interest in the pairing; it doesn't establish the results of our finished formula. Read the pairing study.

L-Tyrosine, 1,000 mg. A building block for brain chemistry.

Your body uses this amino acid to make dopamine and norepinephrine, chemical messengers involved in attention. That's the biological role behind including it in the formula. Read the tyrosine review.

L-Tyrosine has also been studied during demanding tasks. One trial found a working-memory benefit during multitasking, but used 150 mg per kilogram of body weight, substantially more than our 1,000 mg serving. That result doesn't establish the same benefit at our dose. Read the multitasking study.

Vitamin B6 as P5P, 10 mg. A nutrient involved in making neurotransmitters.

Two ripe bananas on a pale studio background

Vitamin B6 helps enzymes involved in making the chemical messengers your brain uses. We use P5P, an active coenzyme form of B6. Its place in the formula is nutritional support for that process; the biological role alone doesn't establish that taking additional B6 improves focus. Read the NIH explanation of vitamin B6.

Imagery represents common dietary sources of each ingredient.

Those are the four ingredients and the amounts in one two-capsule serving. Each has a stated role. Each amount is visible. You can see what the research tells us and where it stops.

The label tells you the formula. Product testing answers a different question.

What was checked in the finished product?

Our published certificate of analysis records checks for weight, capsule disintegration, microbes, heavy metals, gluten, and P5P potency. It tells you which product specifications were tested. It isn't a trial of how well the product improves focus.

Atomic Focus pouch

Your serving

Two capsules fit into the routine you build around your work. One pouch contains 60 capsules, or 30 servings.

The supplement is one part of that setup. Sleep, food, and the way you arrange your work still matter. Look back at what moved forward, what interrupted you, and whether the product suits you.

Questions, answered plainly.

Will Atomic Focus put me in a flow state?

We do not promise a flow state. "Good focus should feel like flow" describes the experience that inspired the product. Your experience depends on more than a supplement, including sleep, the task, and interruptions.

What makes it different from another coffee?

Atomic Focus combines a measured caffeine serving with L-Theanine, plus L-Tyrosine and vitamin B6 as P5P. The pairing has attention research behind it, while L-Tyrosine and B6 have the biological roles explained above. That is the formulation rationale, not a promise that it works better than coffee for everyone.

Will I feel a kick?

Atomic Focus contains caffeine, so you may notice stimulation. We do not promise a particular feeling or a jitter-free experience. How strongly you feel it is only one part of deciding whether it suits you.

Do I need to take it for 30 days?

The pouch contains 30 servings. That is a supply size, not a promised timeline for results. Follow the label directions and pay attention to how you respond.

How much caffeine is in a serving?

100 mg per two-capsule serving. Account for your other caffeine sources.

How many capsules do I take?

One serving is two capsules. One pouch contains 60 capsules, or 30 servings. Follow the label directions.

Is it a proprietary blend?

No. Every active dose is printed on the label: 1,000 mg L-Tyrosine, 200 mg L-Theanine, 100 mg caffeine, and 10 mg vitamin B6 as P5P.
